Using hand-selected lumber from only the finest air-dryed quarter-sawn Red Appalachian Oak, each stave of Gon Bops California Series Congas is meticulously cut and shaped by hand, steel rings hand-hammered into place, then cured for months. The shells are then hand-glued, hammered into shape and turned by an artisan who has made these shells ths old-fashioned way for over 20 years. Once they are sanded to a baby-soft finish, nearly one full year has passed. Available in Mahogany or Natural Satin Oil finish with chrome hardware.
